Angus beef burger patties
Kaiser roll/bun
butter - softened
dill pickles
red onion - 1/16” thick
roma tomatoes - 1/8” thick
secret sauce - recipe follows
shredded Vermont cheddar cheese
salt
pepper |
Preparation:
Season beef patties with salt and pepper and cook on a hot grill until desired temperature. With 2-3 minutes left in the cooking process top 1 burger patty with the 1 ounce of shredded Vermont cheddar cheese. Spread butter on top and bottom of buns. Toast until golden. Once burgers have reached the desired temperature, remove from grill and place on paper towels to drain.
Spread the “secret” sauce on the bun bottom. Place the other patty on the bun. Spread a small amount of the “secret” sauce on the burger patty. Next, cover the patty with the sliced pickles and sliced red onion rings. Top with first patty and add the sliced Roma tomatoes. Finish with the toasted bun. Serve immediately.
