Throughout the year, a variety of special events occur around the Walt Disney World® Resort. While many of these events are repeated year after year, others may be a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience additional Disney magic. The list below provides a sampling of events that typically take place every year.

(March - May) —The Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival, presented by Disneynature, is a special spring event. Held at Epcot® Theme Park in Florida, it's filled with a colorful array of flowers, gardens, topiaries, live music and educational events.
Star Wars Weekends is a summer special event at Disney's Hollywood StudiosTM theme park that celebrates George Lucas' classic sci-fi movie series. Join Jedi Masters, Sith Lords and Star Wars celebrities for special shows, presentations and memorabilia.
(June - August) —Sounds Like Summer is an annual live concert series at Epcot theme park that brings together a talented collection of tribute bands to authentically recreate the classic hits of legendary musical icons.
(September) —Night of Joy is a contemporary Christian music festival held at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. Hear live performances by today's top bands in contemporary Christian rock, pop and gospel as you ride some of the Park's most rockin' attractions.
(September - October) —Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a Halloween-themed special event held in Magic Kingdom® theme park that requires a separate ticket to attend. Dress up in your favorite costume and get ready to treat-or-treat. Advance tickets are on sale now!
(September - November) —The Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival is an autumn special event that transforms Epcot® theme park into a food and wine lover's paradise with specialty food items, culinary events, wine seminars and live musical entertainment.
Holidays Around The World is a special event held during the holiday season that transforms World Showcase at Epcot® theme park into a celebration of diverse international holiday traditions with festive decorations and live entertainment.
The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights on the Streets of America at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park is a massive seasonal display featuring millions of holiday lights perfectly synchronized to music.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special event held each winter on select nights at Magic Kingdom® theme park that requires a separate ticket to attend. The event is filled with jolly holiday parades, fireworks and live entertainment.
(January) —This is one race weekend where the smiles easily outnumber the miles. So mark your calendar now to run in the Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend. It's the only place in the world where you can earn the exclusive, and highly coveted Disney Medals.
