LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – April 9, 2025 – The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin is opening its newest celebrity chef restaurant. Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina will be the newest addition to the hotel’s lineup of 23 restaurants and lounges.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Mar. 17, 2025 – The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin has completed the renovation of all 756 guest rooms and suites in the Swan hotel, unveiling a sleek, modern space designed to allow guests to leave the everyday behind and enter a world of wonder.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – March 3, 2026 – The annual Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic will return for its 17th year this fall on Friday, Nov. 20 and Saturday, Nov. 21. Tickets can be purchased now at FoodAndWineClassic.com. The fan-favorite event features unlimited food and beverage offerings from the hotel’s wide array of restaurants and more from 5-9 p.m.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Nov. 18, 2024 – The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin has broken ground on its latest expansion, an addition of 120,000 square feet of event space to its current meeting and convention floorplan. Participating in the groundbreaking ceremony were executives from hotel owners Tishman Realty and MetLife as well as Marriott International and Walt Disney World Resort.  

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Nov. 18, 2024 – In recognition of National Veterans and Military Families Month, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin donated over $13,000 to Wounded Warrior Project, its charitable beneficiary for the 15th annual Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic. 

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Nov. 5, 2024 – The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic will return for its 15th year Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16 as the largest event offering the longest hours in its history. 

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Oct. 28, 2024 – The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin announced the largest renovation and expansion in the property’s history, highlighted by the addition of 120,000 square feet of event space to its current meeting and convention floorplan.   The entire project is an investment of $275 million over the next several years and will also include modernized upgrades to existing meeting spaces and Swan guest rooms; and technology enhancements throughout the property.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – July 15, 2024 – The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin has appointed Greg Sherman director of food and beverage. He will oversee the complex’s multi-million-dollar food and beverage operation, comprised of 23 outlets.
