KIDS ARE TOP PRIORITY AT THE WALT DISNEY WORLD SWAN AND DOLPHIN RESORT LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – The joy of children is the heart and soul of Walt Disney World and Orlando, Fla. So, it is only natural that kids are top priority at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, which represents the most perfect place to be in the very heart of America’s favorite family vacation destination. From the giant statues of swans and dolphins and huge clamshell fountains, to fully supervised daily activities and a dazzling array of swimming pools and recreational activities, every child’s interest – and parent’s need – is covered. Camp Dolphin is just for children, 4 to 12. Open in the evenings, the supervised program features arts, crafts, movies, video games, and even a special dinner program. Staffed by a team of licensed counselors, parents are assured of a safe and fun environment for kids. Parents can be treated to up to two hours of free childcare for up to two children at Camp Dolphin while dining at any one of the hotel’s signature restaurants or enjoying a pampering spa treatment at Mandara Spa. (NOTE: One child admitted for each adult entrée purchased. One child admitted for each purchase of a spa treatment of 75 minutes or more.) The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort offers children’s menus in all restaurants. One of the more exciting experiences for children at the hotel is the opportunity to have breakfast or dinner at Garden Grove restaurant with their favorite Disney characters. In addition to its ideal location in the Epcot resort area, the hotel’s recreational facilities are enough to keep most children enthralled for days. The resort features five swimming pools, including a grotto as well as a white sand beach, water volleyball and other aquatic games, waterfalls and water slides. There are tennis courts, video games, a children’s playground, and watercraft rentals. In addition, the entire family can enjoy 36 holes of miniature golf at the nearby Fantasia Gardens. As a special reward for students who achieve high grades, the resort offers the Straight A Club. The Straight A Club recognizes the importance of hard work in school by giving special attention to kids with straight A’s on their report card. By showing a report card with all A’s at check-in, each student receives a “Straight A Club” cap that is theirs to keep along with a free cup or cone of ice cream at the hotel’s ice cream parlor. For peace of mind, parents can request a safety kit to further childproof their hotel room, with wall socket covers and nightlights. Before and after visiting the Disney Theme Parks, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort promises every child a memorable place to stay.
